True Bodyboarder, in body and soul, this sport was what sparked interest in film production. In 1998, at the tender age of 18, he began recording the first Portuguese Bodyboard film together with 3 friends. In 2001 it was released on dvd in news stands, and the success was such, that he had produced three more films by 2006, including the surf film and top sales “North-South”. At the same time he graduated in film and television in the Modern University of Lisbon. In 2007 he began the production of corporate films, documentaries and tv and as of today he is still connected to “machines”.
We believe that Adilson is a (su)real Project Manager. Very creative and always smiling at life, he lived in NYCity while studying Communication Arts. He later Produced live shows in Portugal and Spain, and recently spent a few months in Brazil producing content for the World Cup before returning to the Portuguese sunlight to do some magic. Being in touch with Lisboa’s scene through his hobby (musical booker for some of the city’s top places) he now claims that he will hardly move from Portugal to live in any other place in the world. Father of Beatriz, skateboarder, wave-rider, rhyme-lover, song-maker, sun-shiner and (now) Boa-Onda-project-manager. BAM!
He is the oldest one in the team. He likes to tell stories using moving images and by choosing, each soundtrack he uses, very wisely. He worked at Snegami, Black Box Audiovisual and then went freelancing for 3 years. He then got tired of working in his pyjamas. Occasionally you may find him working after 7 p.m.
Martim Burnay, born and raised in Cascais, from very early on he connected with nature and the sea. After countless time spent zapping the tele for shows about animal life and nature, he became fascinated with photography and video. In 2012 he accomplished a dream of his own by capturing stunning images of the African savannah. He worked as a camera operator at SIC Tv station and for the Secret Story show at TVI. Then drifted into working as a freelancer. Finally, he joined the Boa Onda crew in 2013.
Luís Marques, a native of Castelo Branco with an Algarvian rib, went to study in Lisbon and stayed there until today. The curiosity and adventurous spirit took him to Prague in the ambit of Leonardo da Vinci program, a city that made him vibrate with the video capture and editing. He worked in RTP África and as a freelancer, because in good Portuguese: “um Beirão faz falta em qualquer produção”. Passionate about the creativity that the profession allows, it is at night that his imagination comes out.
